Army Open House 2012 from 26 to 27 May in Singapore

Do you love army and its activities? There is an opportunity for the citizens of the Singapore to see the live performances of the army. This is the first time in the history of Singapore when army organising its open house outside of military camp. This open house is arranged in the city area. Now every single person of the city and the people from other towns can access to the Open House as well.

The army has worked very hard for this event, and they also worked with the transport department. During this open-house event, SBS Transit and buses will be available frequently to the Marina Bay area. The Singaporean military is working from last six months on the project, and now it is ready for the people. You can visit the Open House on Saturday and Sunday at any time. This edition is themed Fathers and Sons.

This is the celebration for completing 45 years of national service. There are many things for the families to attract and to entertain them. Exhibitions are ready to give visitors a brief history of army operations. The public wil get the chance to ride on the army vehicles for the first time. They can visit the sea with the fast craft utility. For this purpose, navy vessels will be used that supports land operations.

A 30-minute duration defence show is also available for the visitors. People will get the chance three times a day to see the dynamic defence show. Visitors can test their skills in shooting. A time-tunnel exhibition is also arranged, and a multimedia displays will show the history of the SAF. The entry to the Open House is free for everyone, and the timings are 9am to 8pm.
