Ebisu Muscats (恵比寿マスカッツ) is a Japanese idol group comprised of both gravure idols and AV stars, without a fixed line-up. Their popularity comes from their TV variety show Onegai! Muscat. They released their first single, “Banana Mango High School / 12 no 34 de Naite with Namida Yonshimai”, in 2010 which reached #8 on the Oricon charts.

The single is titled “Banana Mango High School / 12 no 34 de Naite with Namida 4 Shimai” and will go on sale February 17, 2010. Ebisu Muscats — which includes well-known stars such as Sora Aoi (26) and Yuma Asami (22), first performed the innuendo-filled “Banana Mango High School” on the show earlier this year. In addition to the standard release, they will also release separate versions performed by subgroups led by Risa Kasumi (25), Minori Hatsune (22), and Rio (23).

The hype surrounding the film, which was touted as the world’s first 3D adult film, was so great that there were even reports of travel agents organising trips for tourists from China to catch the film in Hong Kong and Taiwan, as China’s strict censorship laws prevented it from being screened there.
