I just read it from our local famous social-political website that WP MP Yaw Shin Leong is involved in a under table affair with his WP team mate Angela Oon and the latter is pregnant. This is a little shocking to me because Yaw Shin Leong is 斯斯文文.
According to the informants, some of whom are from the Covenant Evangelical Free Church (CEFC), a certain Mr Yaw Shin Leong, core member of a prominent opposition party has been sleeping around with a married female member of the same party named Angela and has gotten her pregnant.Mr Yaw Shin Leong and his wife reportedly sought counseling with Reverend Dr Chua Chung Kai of the CEFC after the affair came to light, in a bid to save their marriage which was on the rock. Both Mr Yaw Shin Leong and his wife worship at CEFC.

Reverend Chua refused comment when contacted but several members of the church whom TRE spoke to said that they were “very angry” that the church leaders were helping to cover up the affairs of Mr Yaw Shin Leong. Some added that “this is not the first time that he has done this (sleeping with other women)”.
Actor Huang Yiliang charged with causing hurt to woman
An informant close to the opposition party said that the Central Executive Council (CEC) is aware of Mr Yaw Shin Leong’s actions but is undecided (at the time of this reporting) as to what action should be taken.Apparently, the CEC is aware that Mr Yaw Shin Leong has been ‘poking around’ with several women in the past and has warned him on several occasions. Mr Yaw Shin Leong who then had quite a few women decided to ‘release’ the rest and ‘keep’ Angela. In a reply to media queries from TRE, the Deputy Treasurer of the party Mr Png said: “We have to think carefully about our response”.Yahoo! Singapore attempted to contact Yaw Shin Leong and other members of the WP several times, but could not get a response.

According to TNP, the woman Yaw Shin Leong is alleged to have had an affair with said, “I hope you will not identify me or the other woman involved.”It is unclear who “the other woman” mentioned was.She added that she would “neither confirm nor deny the allegations”, reported TNP.Yaw Shin Leong’s Facebook page was bombarded with comments from followers, calling for him to face the issue and apologise instead of deleting the offending comments. Others insist that the incident is a “PAP smear” campaign designed to kill support for the opposition.

In the 2006 Singapore General Elections, Yaw Shin Leong was candidate and leader of The Workers’ Party team that contested the Prime Minister’s seat of Ang Mo Kio Group Representative Constituency. Made up largely of young, first-time candidates under the age of 35, the team was dubbed the “suicide squad” by the media, and the PAP chairman Lim Boon Heng boldly predicted that the Prime Minister’s team would win 80 to 85% of the votes, putting the “suicide squad” at risk of losing their deposits.
