Actress Park Si Yeon tells how shocked she was at Yoo Jae Suk‘s wedding gift.
Park Si Yeon making a guest appearance on KBS ‘Happy Together’ on the 5th spoke about the amount of money Yoo Jae Suk had gifted her for her wedding. (It is customary in Korea to gift money on weddings instead of physical gifts like in some other countries)
Park Si Yeon stated, “Yoo Ja Suk couldn’t come to my wedding because he had filming on the same day, but he sent money gift for the wedding and I was shocked at the large amount he had gifted.”
Unfortunately for Yoo Jae Suk, co-mc Park Mi Sun had something to say about that as she playfully stated, “Didn’t you give very little for my wedding”, to which Yoo Jae Suk answered, “At the the time I had very little work. I actually gave you my entire allowance for that month”, and everyone burst into laughter.
Park Si Yeon goes nude in “The Scent” SEOUL: South Korean actress Park Si Yeon will be making her first appearance in a nude scene for the upcoming movie “The Scent”.At the film’s premiere in Seoul on April 3, Park opened up at the press conference to reveal she felt pressurized shooting the nude scene, reported Korean media.
“When I first got the script, there was no
scene. I did not know I had to go naked in front of camera until we started filming,” said Park. The actress added it was tough for her as she had never done such a scene before. It was only after several heated discussions with the director, Kim Hyung Joon, and co-star Park Hee Soon, that Park Si Yeon agreed to go ahead with the filming.
In the suspense thriller, Park Si Yeon plays the role of an attractive widow who holds vital information about her husband’s murder case while Park Hee Soon plays a detective who accidentally gets involved in the same case.A s e xual attraction between the two characters slowly developed as they clashed repeatedly to solve the murder case.
Director Kim Hyung Joon explained that the bed scene between the two leads was essential to bring out this s e xual attraction.”The main concept of this movie is femme fatale and I had Sharon Stone’s ‘Basic Instinct’ in mind when I was directing this film,” said Kim.”Park Si Yeon’s physical temptation was necessary to portray that fatal attraction,” he added.
