Thye Hua Kwan Charity Show 2012 Singapore

SINGAPORE: Popular Singapore artistes like Joanne Peh, Hong Hui Fang and Yuan Shuai, will be among the many celebrities who will be performing on the upcoming Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society televised fundraiser, which will be broadcast over Channel 8 on March 25.

Peh and her fellow actresses Hong Hui Fang, Kym Ng, Michelle Chia, Constance Song, Ann Kok as well as Belinda Lee, will perform a sensuous belly dancing routine on the “Thye Hua Kwan Charity Show 2012″.The Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society raised S$5.1 million through its fifth charity show titled “Love All”, Sunday evening.

In 2011, the charitable organisation had an annual budget of S$43 million to manage and operate more than 50 charity homes, centres and services, including the Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital.Despite increasing overheads and manpower shortage, the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society has managed to expand its services.

Apart from the host of local artistes involved in the show, a number of overseas stars like Taiwan’s Michelle Pan Yue Yun and Hong Kong’s Jenny Tseng will be participating in the “Thye Hua Kwan Charity Show 2012″ as well.Pornsak, Lee Teng and Taiwan’s Fang Fang Fang will host the show.This is the fifth year the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society is holding a televised fundraiser.

“We want people to know that there is nothing to be afraid of, that there is help available, that we will do our best to help,” said Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society Chairman Lee Kim Siang.”Thye Hua Kwan Charity Show 2012″ airs March 25, 7pm on Channel 8.

This year, THK will be holding the 5th charity show on Channel 8 which will be a showcase of many heart-warming stories and wholesome entertainment for all.  It is a presentation of songs and dances from both local and regional artistes to raise funds for the beneficiaries under the care of THK.  The fund-raising target for the Charity Show 2012 is $3.8 Million.

The theme is “Love All” which reflects THK’s mission of helping anyone who needs help with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion.

The ‘LIVE’ show will feature performances by the following artistes:
