Singapore Airshow opens to the public at weekend: SINGAPORE – Some 70,000 tickets to this year’s Singapore Airshow have been snapped up, and organisers expect the remaining 20,000 tickets to sell out over the next three days.The Singapore Airshow, one of Asia’s largest aerospace and defence exhibitions, returns from 14 – 19 February 2012 at the Changi Exhibition Centre.Now in its third edition, Singapore Airshow continues to scale new heights with more than 900 exhibitors from 50 countries, and 266 delegations from 80 countries coming together to strike new deals, make key announcements and share industry insights at this landmark event in 2012.
Singapore Airshow continues to demonstrate its thought leadership through its highly anticipated key conferences, the Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit (SAALS) and the Asia Pacific Security Conference (APSEC). SAALS and APSEC will provide a platform for government, military and industry leaders to address challenges and discuss issues facing aviation and regional peace and security.

Singapore Airshow 2012 A world-class venue by the sea:Singapore Airshow 2012 will be held at the purpose-built Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC), located 20 minutes from the Central Business District and 10 minutes from Changi Airport. CEC offers a 40,000sqm fully air-conditioned exhibition hall and 100,000sqm of outdoor display area next to the hall and chalets.
On the weekend, the public can enjoy the numerous exhibits, fairground attractions and amazing aerial displays at this magnificent venue by the sea. Stretching along some 400 metres of coastline, CEC is the perfect place for exhibitors, visitors and the public to take in the best of the Airshow.

The Singapore Airshow will be back in Singapore on 18 to 19 February 2012 from 930am to 5pm at the Changi Exhibition Centre. Organised once every two years, this event attracts travellers from around the world.There will also be flying displays from 11am to 1230pm and 3pm and 330pm on both days, subject to weather conditions. You can expect world class aircrafts which include the Blair Aerosports’ Rebel 300, the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s F16C and F15SG fighter jets, and the Royal Australian Air Force’s Roulettes. Aircrafts making their debut at the airshow include Airbus ACJ 318, the F-22 Raptor fighter jet from the US Air Force, the RUAG Dornier 288NG transport aircraft, and Gulfstream 280 business jet.

* Taxi: Changi Exhibition Centre has a designated Taxi bay. A location surcharge applies for taxis departing from the show site.
* Car: Only vehicles with a Singapore Airshow 2012 parking label will be allowed to enter. Park at Changi Airport and hop onto the airport shuttle bus from Terminal 3 Coach Stand (Arrival Level)
