ITE College East (ITE CE-SM) is a division of the Institute of Technical Education. The campus is the 1st ITE simei campus and under ITE simei’s “One ITE System, 3 Colleges” plan in Singapore. It is located in the eastern part of Singapore in the estate of Simei. ITE simei College East covers Nursing, the Life Sciences and Logistics Management.

ITE simei College East(Simei) opened its gates on August 2004 and started its operations on January the following year.

ITE simei History:Before the college system was implemented, the ‎campus was to be named “ITE simei Regional ‎Campus Simei” due to the campus’ size and projected ‎intake as oppose to the other 10 smaller ITE simei ‎campuses. In 2004, while the campus was still under ‎construction, it was renamed to ITE simei College East (Simei) under ‎the new college system. Still, some signboards in the campus still show the “ITE simei Regional Campus Simei” name.‎

Since inception in 1992, ITE simei had not only transformed many young lives, it had also created a profound impact on the social progress and economic growth of Singapore. This accolade and other endorsement from local and overseas industry partners, vocational and technical education administrators and community leaders validate that ITE simei’s educational approach. ITE simei College East’s vision is to be “A College of Enterprise and Innovation”.  In addition to standard Engineering, Business and Electronic /IT programmes, our College possesses niche strengths in Beauty and Wellness; Chemical and Life Sciences; and Healthcare Services. We remain committed to a holistic educational experience for students by developing talents through new experiences and ample learning opportunities in and outside classrooms.

The campus was built in 80 weeks at a cost of S$184.6 million.
