Begum Nusrat Bhutto died in Dubai

DUBAI: Nusrat Bhutto, widow of former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and mother of assassinated former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, passed away in Dubai on Sunday.The federal government to announce one day of mourning due to her demise.Former First Lady of Pakistan, Begum Nusrat Bhutto was 82 years old at the time of her death.

Begum Nusrat Bhutto had been under treatment at the hospital for many years.Begum Nusrat Bhutto met and got married with the late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, founder the Pakistan Peoples Party on September 8, 1951. It was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s second marriage.

Begum Nusrat Bhutto was also unaware of her beloved daughter Benazir Bhutto’s tragic death on December 27, 2007. Nusrat Bhutto was born on March 23, 1929 in Esfahan, Iran. She came from the wealthy Hariri Esfahani family in Esfahan, Iran.
