Banned Books Week 2011 : This is banned books week, offering a group of organizations book of love (including the American Library Association) to release the list of banned and challenged books. One of the entries seemed strange to me. “O Brave New World” was questioned in Glen Burnie and Seattle, for opposite reasons. At Glen Burnie, trouble was too sexual content. In Seattle, it was something else. The entry for “Brave New World”, notes: Parents complained that the book was “racist lot of derogatory language and misinformation about Native Americans. All My Children finale not to be missed

“All My Children,” which spent four decades introducing controversial issues like abortion, date rape, teenage alcoholism and gay marriage into daytime drama, wraps up its 41-year ABC run on Friday afternoon. “AMC,” which produced one of the all-time great soap villains in Susan Lucci’s Erica Kane and helped launch the careers of actors like Kim Delaney, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kelly Ripa, Michael B. Metta World Peace becomes first ‘Dancing With The Stars’ casualty

Metta World Peace has been voted off ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The basketball player – who was formerly known as Ron Artest – and partner Peta Mergatroyd departed the celebrity ballroom contest last night (20.09.11) after failing to impress with their cha cha on Monday (19.09.11). Metta said afterwards: “I had a great, great time . It was awesome. “All I want to know is who’s coming with me? Peta was great.
