Over 600 exhibitors will be showcasing IT and consumer electronic products at the 22nd edition of the PC Show at Suntec City today.
Open from 12 noon to 9pm, Singapore’s longest-running IT and consumer electronics exhibition features products from leading brands such as Acer, HP, Asus and Canon.
There are four sections to the show: The PC Show 2012, Digital Imaging 2012, Game 2012, and Consumer Electronics 2012.
Exhibitors at the 22nd edition of The PC Show are upbeat about consumer spending.
While the global economic uncertainty is likely to make consumers more cautious, exhibitors are expecting consumers to shop around for the best bargains and deals that will give them the biggest bang for their bucks.
The show attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year and generates millions of dollars in sales. Last year, almost a million visitors came, saw and bought over $53 million IT and electronic products.
Besides discounted prices, special bundling packages and free gifts with purchase, customers will also stand the chance of winning $10,000 in a lucky draw organized by Lines Exposition. For every $50 spent, customers will get one chance to win the top prize and a host of other attractive prizes.
Favian Loo, Marketing Manager of Electronic Imaging Division for Fujifilm Singapore said: “We have noticed that over the years, visitors to The PC Show have become increasingly more IT and gadget savvy.
“Before the show, they would already have done their research, spoken to friends, checked for the latest on the market and compared prices. They can then zero in on their ‘targets’ and use the time saved to browse for other products not on their must-buy list.”
The PC Show 2012, is open from today to June 10, 12pm to 9pm. Admission is free.
