Starlet Kristine Hermosa is still in shock and has offered to help the family of the 16-year-old boy who was killed in a traffic accident Sunday afternoon in Cavite, a press statement issued by ABS-CBN, her mother studio, said Monday.
Ms. Kristine Hermosa just left her shoot and was on her way to Quezon City for another appointment when two people aboard a motorcycle tried to overtake their vehicle and cut into their lane causing the accident, the statement said.
“It is a most unfortunate incident and Ms. Kristine Hermosa and her family are doing everything possible to extend assistance to the families of the motorists. We wish to reiterate that Ms. Kristine Hermosa was not behind the wheel when the accident happened,” the statement added.

Macarista Davis Jr died on the spot while his companion Mayzel de Guzman, 18, was still receiving treatment at the Naic Hospital, the radio report aired Sunday said.
The incident happened 1:35 p.m. Sunday on Governor’s Drive in Garita B village, Maragondon, Cavite, based on the information given by Senior Superintendent Fidel Posadas, head of the Cavite Provincial Police Office, to DZBB.
Posadas said Kristine Hermosa was on board her Hyundai SUV Sta Fe series 2007 (ZKU-327) driven by Francisco Manarang Jr, 32, when the vehicle hit the Honda motorcycle (not a Honda car as earlier reported) of the two victims.
Posadas said Davis was driving the Honda but doubted that the latter has a license being a minor. -
