Sakae Sushi (Kanji: 栄寿司) is a restaurant chain based in Singapore serving Japanese cuisine, and is the flagship brand of Apex-Pal International Ltd. Aimed at the low- to mid-level pricing market, Sakae Sushi offers sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, yakimono, nabemono, tempura, agemono, ramen, udon, soba and donburi served either à la carte or via a sushi conveyor belt.

The chain has 32 outlets in Singapore, 15 of which are in the suburban areas. Sakae Sushi is first outlet was opened in Raffles Place in September 1997, and is currently the largest kaiten-zushi Japanese restaurant chain in the country  . Sakae Sushi also has seven outlets in Malaysia, one in Thailand, six in the People’s Republic of China, three in the Philippines and four in Indonesia. Sakae Sushi also offers office- or home-delivery service in Singapore.Sakae Sushi’s founder is Singaporean Douglas Foo, who has said that he would one day like to expand operations into North Korea, because of the potential for effective monopoly power in the region.

Sakae Sushi all started in 1997 in Singapore, when having fine Japanese cuisine and fresh sushi meant spending top dollars. He noticed that his wife, an avid fan of Japanese food, was always dining consciously at such restaurants for fear of incurring an exorbitant bill.
