Boeing set to deliver first 787 Dreamliner to Japan
After several years of delay, the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner is set to be delivered to customers in Japan and will make its first flight passengers this fall. Boeing sold the first composite airliner light All Nippon Airways (ANA), signing official documents to complete the delivery on Sunday. Vice president and general manager of Boeing’s 787 program said that the plane was $ 200 million was “legally transferred to All Nippon Airways”, according to Reuters. Nearly 800 Dreamliner has been ordered by airlines, as it is described as the most advanced passenger jet fuel and comfortable ever built with a capacity for long-haul flights. 787 Dreamliner was scheduled to fly in May 2008, but production problems delay the design and long-range jet will prodano.Wall Street Journal, the first commercial service will begin with the Dreamliner domestic flights in Japan in November, after which the first international flight from Tokyo to Frankfurt, scheduled in January.
