Second Season of Cardfight!! Vanguard Announced

According to Famitsu, the second season of Cardfight!! Vanguard was announced at Bushiroad’s live stage. New grown-up character designs of Aichi and Toshiki were revealed.

The four seiyu of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes will sing the fifth ED of Vanguard this winter. Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2 will be aired from January 5th.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Season 2 : This is the episode listing for the 2nd season of the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime. In English, the season will be known as Cardfight!! Vanguard Asia Circuit Hen (カードファイト!!ヴァンガードアジアサーキット編).

It will air on April 8th, 2012 at 10:00 AM (Japanese Standard Time.) The new time-slot is on Sundays.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Season 2 Plot Summary

The Asia Circuit is a huge tournament where Aichi, Kai, Misaki, Kamui and Ren have to travel around Asia to fight different fighters. The first tournament will be in Singapore. The other side characters like Miwa, Morikawa, etc will be left in Japan and Miwa will be looking after Card Capital, as the Acting Shop Owner, during the Tournament Period.

Story Cardfight!! Vanguard Season 2

Story first season : Aichi Sendou is a timid third year middle school student who has always lived his life looking backwards rather than forward. However, he has a card called “Blaster Blade” that was given to him when he was little, which is the sole thing that sustains him. Then Kai Toshiki, a cool-hearted high schooler, introduces Aichi to a card game called “Vanguard”. When participants battle they picture they are on a planet called “Klay”, and since Vanguard features a never before seen game system it has become popular around the world. Aichi immediately likes Vanguard, so he begins to play it with his friends Misaki Togura and Kamui Katsuragi, and others like his new rival Kai (who is one of the best Vanguard players). Aichi plays every day and he strives with all his soul and heart to play better, so when he battles Kai, Kai will recognize Aichi’s worth. (ANN)
