Aishwarya Rai Daughter photos

Aishwarya Rai was discharged from Seven Hills Hospital yesterday and Abhishek Bachchan apparently didn’t trust the family driver to escort his new little family home because the doting dad took the wheel himself!

With mother Jaya Bachchan following in a separate car, Abhishek drove Aishwarya Rai, Beti B, Aishwarya Rai’s mother Vrinda Rai and his father Amitabh Bachchan (who sat in back with Aishwarya Rai and her daughter) back to the Bachchan residence for what was certainly some much needed rest and privacy.

Once home the Bachchans held a promised press meeting to answer questions about Aishwarya Rai’s hospital stay, much to the delight of a curious (but respectfully restrained) media. Though Aishwarya Rai didn’t appear at the press meeting with Abhishek and Amitabh, she did venture out near the end to allow the press to get a few pictures.

Aishwarya Rai looked simply stunning, especially for a woman who has just recently given birth. She wore a pale pink salwar kameez and glowed for the photographers, who took several shots of her and Abhishek together.

Disappointingly (but not surprisingly) Aishwarya Rai’s daughter was nowhere to be seen. Amitabh has said several times in the past few days that no photos would be released to the public, as he regards these days to be especially private. Looks like fans will have to wait quite some time before getting a glimpse of the most famous baby in India!
