6.9 Earthquake in Islamabad , KPK , Delhi , Muzafarabad , Kabul Afghanistan – 26th December 2015
Severe jolts of earthquake have been felt in several cities of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir.
Earthquake jolts of 6.9 magnitude have been felt around Pakistan. “The jolts were felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Azad Kashmir and Northern areas of Pakistan,” media reported.
According to the media sources the epicenter was 71.18°E 36.45°N in Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region, Magnitude 6.3 (Mw), Depth 204 km, it lasted for 40 to 50 seconds.

cities shaken by the earthquake include Lahore, Sialkot, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Abbottabad, Swat, Charsadda, Attock and Malakand division.
The intense earthquake tremors that continued for at least 80 to 90 seconds frightened people to rush out of their homes and offices in different cities.

Possibility have been predicted of having the quake in any Northern India or Pakistan’s city as the epic centre. Earthquake seems to be of 5-8 on the rector scale.
